FAQ

  • What types of birds do you rescue?

We rescue a wide variety of domestic birds, including parrots (macaws, cockatoos, conures, African greys, etc.), parakeets, cockatiels, doves, and other companion bird species. We do not handle wildlife.

  • How can I surrender a bird to your rescue?

If you need to surrender a bird, please contact us through our surrender request form or by phone. We’ll ask for basic information about the bird’s health, behavior, and history to ensure proper placement and care.

  • Do you offer birds for adoption?

Yes! After receiving medical evaluations, behavioral assessments, and rehabilitation if needed, many of our birds become available for adoption. You can browse adoptable birds on our website and submit an adoption application.

  • What are the requirements for adopting a bird?

We look for adopters who can provide a stable, loving, and bird-safe environment. This includes proper housing, nutrition, enrichment, and a willingness to learn about the species’ needs. A home check and interview are also required.

  • How can I support the rescue?

You can support us through donations, volunteering, fostering birds, or contributing supplies like toys, food, and cages. Every bit helps us continue our mission of caring for birds in need.

  • Do you offer advice or help for current bird owners?

Absolutely! We provide guidance on bird care, nutrition, behavior, and enrichment. Whether you’re a new bird owner or dealing with a challenging behavior, we’re here to help.
